Hypnotherapy Training Courses in the UK 

The Oxford School of Hypnosis provides a wide range of hypnosis based training in the UK. Each course is comprehensive and requires no prior knowledge.

The courses are validated by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council, which acts as a link between the hypnotherapy industry and the Department of Health.

Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy

This comprehensive course, consisting of independent study and practical sessions, aims at providing all the knowledge and skills necessary for practising as a professional Clinical Hypnotherapist. Students will also become proficient in the requirements of the National Occupational Standards for Hypnotherapy. 

Certificate in Clinical Hypnotherapy

Aimed at providing the student with a thorough foundation in hypnosis, hypnotherapy and self-hypnosis, this course combines home study and practical sessions.  Upon completion, the student can apply the principles in his or her own life, and also pursue further studies towards a professional qualification. 

Diploma in Clinical and Medical Hypnotherapy

This is a comprehensive course consisting of independent study and practical sessions. The aim of the course is to provide knowledge and understanding of hypnosis and hypnotherapy to qualified medical practitioners who can apply the techniques within the broader remit of general medicine or establish their own private hypnotherapy practice. The requirements of the National Occupational Standards for Hypnotherapy are also covered.

Diploma in Hypno-Coaching

Hypno-coaching is a combination of the disciplines of hypnotherapy and life-coaching. Working at both the conscious and subconscious levels, hypno-coaching utilises the deep penetrating power of hypnosis and the traditional principles of coaching to accelerate the process of beneficial change. The successful student will be able to set up in practice as a Hypno-coach. 

Certificate in Transpersonal Hypnotherapy

The aim of this course is to provide a thorough grounding in the principles of hypnosis, hypnotherapy and transpersonal hypnosis, enabling the student to apply the principles in his or her life. The course involves home study and practical sessions. 

Diploma in Transpersonal Hypnotherapy

This comprehensive course aims at providing the knowledge and skills required to practise as a Transpersonal Hypnotherapist. The modules covered include parts therapy, meditative hypnosis, past life regression therapy and Mindfulness. The requirements of the National Occupational Standards for Hypnotherapy are also covered.

Diploma in Workplace Hypnotherapy

This course covers hypnotherapy for groups as well as individuals, and is ideal for those who wish to practise in the workplace, dealing with issues such as workplace bullying, stress, low self-confidence, and a pervasive feeling of generalised anxiety and fear. The course entails independent study and practical sessions.
