What is ‘Negotiating Skills’?

Negotiation is a way of life for most of us, both at a personal and professional level. On a daily basis, we have to negotiate even without realising it, in order to get what we want. Negotiating enables us to participate in the decisions that affect us, rather than simply accepting decisions made for us by others. 

The Course

This course shows you how to negotiate by deciding issues on their merits rather than through haggling. The emphasis is to seek out mutual gains, use objective criteria, focus on the interests of the parties involved and separate the people from the problem. The skills can be applied to the workplace and on a personal level. Principles of NLP are applied where appropriate.
